This computer controlled machine is is designed for use by a single operator with no previous box making experience necessary. The boxer can produce a virtually unlimited range of box sizes and shapes to meet your requirements.

This user-friendly man/machine interface allows setup for a new box size or style to be accomplished in less than a minute. Simply select the box style and features and input the box dimensions; the machine will display the blank size needed, and automatically cut and crease the blank to the specified dimensions in a single pass.

The Boxer is capable of production rates up to 500 cartons per machine hour, depending upon the box size specified. The rugged and innovative design of this machine combines high speed throughput, repeatability and versatility in an easy to operate piece of equipment. This adds up to a cost saving investment that can be recovered in less than one year.

This machine can be used to cut a variety of materials to a desired size with minimal setup time. It is equipped with a variable speed drive to handle any size sheet without difficulty.

Blanks can be produced on the Slitter by adjusting the material guide rail to the desired dimension, displayed on an easy to read scale. One operator can perform machine setup and production with minimal training or experience.

When used in conjunction with The Boxer, your container needs can be addressed quickly and efficiently, with little scrap, less inner packaging, and more variety.

This machine is designed to apply the right amount of cold glue to the flap of any type of folded box manufactured by The Boxer, and then hold it in compression in a sequential process until the bonding is set. Boxes as small as 2 inches wide can readily be handled as can boxes with a folded width up to 72 inches in size.

Standard features include an adjustable height loading table, variable speed control on the gluing roller and an easily movable conveyor system to accommodate gluing anywhere within the 72 inch throat area. An optional feature includes a roller coder mounted next to the conveyor for printing freight stamps and/or other nomenclature on the boxes.

Griffin Automation is pleased to announce the Boxer III computerized box making machine capable of processing triple wall corrugated board. Material up to 1,500 pound test and AAA thick can readily be accommodated with blank widths up to 90 inches and blank lengths up to and in excess of 200 inches. This provides for the quick production of heavy-duty boxes which are lighter, more rugged, and less expensive than their wooden equivalents.

Setup on the Boxer III is accomplished in less than a minute by a single operator with no box making experience. The operator simply selects a box style and inputs the box dimensions required. The computer will display the blank size needed and set up the machine. The blank is then fed into the Boxer III and will be automatically cut, creased, and scored in a single pass. This results in better fitting containers produced in the quantities you need, when you need them, and requires less packaging materials and less warehouse space.

The Boxer III is a larger version of our original Boxer which processes all grades of corrugated board from 'E' single wall to 'BC' double wall in blank widths up to 70 inches. Both units are ideally suited for short production runs of 1 to 2,000 boxes in nine (9) box styles and a virtually unlimited range of box sizes.

The Boxer III is capable of processing any grade of single wall, double wall, or triple wall material. This unique flexibility provides for the production of boxes in a virtually unlimited range of materials, styles, and sizes to meet your particular requirements. High speed throughput, versatility, and ease of operation add up to a cost savings investment that can be recovered in less than one year.
